for the Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Theater in Vietnam.
Covering a total area of 40,000 square meters and accommodating up to 8,000 spectators, this landmark venue stands as one of Southeast Asia’s most prominent cultural and performance destinations.
The project has now been successfully completed and is operating reliably.
Serving as a key cultural and artistic hub in the region, the Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Theater supports a wide range of functions, including circus performances,
variety shows, conferences, exhibitions, and film screenings. Its massive scale and highfrequency scene transitions place exceptionally stringent demands on system stability,
positioning accuracy, and visual performance. Drawing on extensive experience from landmark venues worldwide,
Grandview delivered a tailored solution featuring a custom 632inch ML Series engineering screen, paired with imported Grandview WM9 fiberglass screen material, forming a giant 14m × 7m
motorized screen with an optimized aspect ratio. The system delivers high color accuracy and a wide viewing angle, ensuring immersive visuals even under complex stage lighting conditions,
allowing every audience member to enjoy a powerful and consistent viewing experience.
To support dynamic stage operations, multiple Grandview K3 Series electric chain hoist control points were deployed.
Each lifting point offers a rated load capacity of 500 kg and ±1 mm positioning accuracy, enabling rapid deployment and retraction within 30 seconds, as well as precise multi-directional positioning. Integrated safety features—including overload protection and chain-break protection—ensure reliable performance for heavy-duty equipment and frequent scene changes.
Throughout the project, the Grandview team implemented custom moisture- and corrosion resistant treatments to address Vietnam’s local climate conditions.
An intelligent central control system was also deployed, enabling synchronized operation between projection, stage lighting, and audio systems.
